Please do not let cost prevent you from deciding to enroll your child at Praise Academy at Lakeside.  We believe a quality Christian education should be available to any child, regardless of their family’s financial situation, and our staff will work with you to determine an affordable tuition rate.

We ask every family admitted to Praise Academy at Lakeside to pay a portion of the tuition costs for their student(s) to attend.  The tuition payment and assistance is determined by using proof of household income and size.  To make that determination, parents/guardians need to meet with our staff and provide one or more of the following documentation that applies:

  • Federal Income Tax forms for 2022

  • Evidence of qualification for Louisiana Purchase Card or SNAP benefits

  • W-2s from all employers for the period ended December 31, 2022

  • Unemployment compensation statement for the period ended December 31, 2022

  • Alimony as shown in court decree or agreement

  • Social Security benefits statement for the period ended December 31, 2022

  • Pension statements for the period ended December 31, 2022

If you have more than one child enrolling in the school, the 1st child pays 100% of agreed to tuition, 2nd child 50%, 3rd child or more 25%.  Tuition includes the cost of supplies, textbooks, and meals.

Tuition is paid in 10 monthly installments and is due each month, starting in August 2023 and ending in May 2024.  The first payment is a non-refundable deposit due within one month of enrollment.   Once a tuition payment is made, it is non-refundable, even if a student withdraws from the school for any reason.

The remainder of the cost to educate each student is covered by the generosity of our school’s donors—individuals, Christian organizations, and foundations who are committed to helping make the education provided by Praise Academy at Lakeside available to children such as your own.

Non-discrimination policy: Praise Academy at Lakeside admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities of the students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, athletic programs or any other school-administered programs.
